Welcome Party on the Waves
The festivities began with a Sunset Sail aboard Trilogy Excursions, a quintessential Maui experience that set the tone for a weekend of joy. Following the sail, guests enjoyed a lively dinner at Gather in Wailea Resort, where good food and even better company kicked off the celebration.
Pre-Ceremony Bliss
To maximize their time with loved ones, Nancy and Michael took their family and wedding party photos before the ceremony. This thoughtful plan allowed them to fully savor their cocktail hour later—a genius move for couples looking to soak in every moment of their special day!
A Grand Welcome
Guests were greeted with flutes of bubbly elegantly displayed on golden shelves. The welcome sign and seating chart added a touch of elevated sophistication, setting the stage for the celebration to come.
Cocktail Hour with Island Charm
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests mingled in cozy lounge areas while enjoying island-inspired appetizers. A standout feature? The live coconut-chopping station by The Catered Coconut—equal parts entertaining and refreshing. It was the ultimate tropical touch!
A Reception to Remember
The reception décor was a stunning blend of ivory, sage, deep green, and gold accents. Guests were seated in a unique square arrangement around the dance floor, fostering a sense of togetherness. The head table stole the show with its dark canopy draped in ivory fabric, greenery accents, sparkling chandeliers, and green chinoiserie linens paired with neutral napkins.
Guest tables mirrored the head table’s design, featuring neutral linens complemented by chinoiserie napkins. A chic double white bar served up two creative signature cocktails: the Empress Spritz and the Mike-Tai—a playful nod to the couple’s fun-loving nature.
Golden Hour and Dancing
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Nancy changed into a silky Sau Lee dress, perfect for her romantic first dance with Michael. This magical moment was followed by the cutting of a stunning three-tier cake, surrounded by an array of delectable desserts. The night unfolded with high-energy beats from DJ Scott, keeping the dance floor packed and the celebration alive.
A Sweet Farewell
Nancy and Michael wrapped up their unforgettable weekend with a Morning After Brunch at Humble Market Kitchen. Guests savored a delicious spread while reminiscing about the incredible memories made over the past few days.
