Our bride, Cat wanted something very green and lush for her Maui wedding. And together, they wanted something warm and outdoors in the sunshine, and also something more on the relaxed side but still private and beautiful. Punakea Palms, a family operated coconut farm located in the foothills of the West Maui Mountains was the perfect wedding venue for their celebration of love.
The Proposal: Alex proposed in the middle of Lake Como during their trip to Bellagio. They hired their own boat for the day to tour the lake and the villas. He proposed with Cat’s mother’s original engagement ring, which he was able to track down from her dad. Cat didn’t even know it existed!
Their modern tropical inspired decor was brilliantly put together by their floral artist and wedding designer. They used mostly locally-sourced goods for their decor which is something that makes us happy! Cat’s bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses that complimented the tropical decor so well. Their wedding arch full of greenery was a piece of art and the bridal bouquets were to dye for, they all included a king protea but each of them was designed in a unique way!
Congrats to these lovers, and thanks to the wonderful team that contributed to this beautiful wedding:
