Like so many of our recent wedding couples, Kaela and Ryan were overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude that they were finally able to celebrate their Maui wedding with a fun group of family and friends after their original wedding date was postponed due to the pandemic. They dreamed of a romantic, semi-formal, island style soirée in romantic shades of blush, gray and soft blue with touches of greenery and gold. Their day was so beautiful and etherial, with floral decor dripping in gorgeous texture and the stunning bride and groom looking like visions of love and aloha in their elegant wedding attire.

After a sweet first look under the towering trees at the Olowalu Plantation House, the couple was joined by their wedding party for group photos, which is something that we always recommend. With most of the group portraits done before the wedding, this will provide ample time for you to enjoy cocktail hour with your guests after the ceremony and before sneaking off for romantic sunset photos around the expansive Olowalu Plantation House property. Their wedding party looked amazing, dressed in soft blush bridesmaids dresses for the ladies and the guys dressed in soft dusty blue to match the handsome groom. The color story of the day intertwined beautifully between their attire and flower decor, make sure you scroll down to see how perfectly the soft King Protea flowers in the bouquets complimented the gorgeous bridesmaids dresses!

The couple said I do with the glistening Pacific Ocean as their backdrop, underneath an elegantly styled 2-post wedding arch dripping in soft shades of blush and ivory flowers. They customized their wedding ceremony by including their own minister, writing their own vows and including a sweet Hawaiian lei exchange between themselves and their parents. After seven years of being together, and overcoming many obstacles, they were overjoyed to finally be pronounced as husband and wife, it was such a sweet and happy moment and we were so honored to be there to document it all.

The celebration continued with a relaxed cocktail hour in the warm Hawaiian breeze, complete with customized tropical cocktails and delicious island inspired appetizers. A gorgeous al fresco reception followed with a delectable dinner, a gorgeous sunset and of course a rainbow appeared to make their special day even more incredible.

Congratulations to these beautiful newlyweds, we wish you a lifetime amazing days as wonderful as this one.
