Hannah and Jason envisioned having a romantic Maui wedding in soft, tropical shades of the sunset, overlooking the bright blue Pacific Ocean in Maui. Watching the sunset from Merriman’s Kapalua on previous trips to Maui has always been one of their favorites things to do, so when it came time to make a decision on where they would host their Maui wedding, they knew exactly where they wanted that to happen. Set on a cliff, surrounded by jagged lava rocks, pristine natural greenery and endless ocean views for miles, this gorgeous couple exchanged vows at Merriman’s Kapalua, one of the most breathtaking destination wedding venues on Maui!
The couple exchanged sweet and intimate promises to each other on a perfect Maui day, with warm tradewinds and crashing ocean waves surrounding them. Sunya’s Flowers brought the Maui sunset shades to life by artfully creating their wedding flowers in romantic shades of coral and pinks. The groom wore a suit in the perfect shade of blue that looked amazing against the blue ocean backdrop and Hannah absolutely stunned in her intricately designed floral lace wedding gown. A scrumptious cocktail hour followed, complete with gourmet appetizers and famous Maui mai tais, catered and served by the incredible culinary team at Merriman’s Kapalua.
After spending time capturing romantic couple’s photos around the picturesque property, the couple rejoined their guests for a romantic dinner under the stars at the cliff side dinner cabana on the Merriman’s Kapalua Deck. Their dinner reception featured Hawaiian regional cuisine and specialty cocktails, heartfelt toasts and a beautiful wedding cake; an absolutely perfect way to celebrate becoming husband and wife.
